After Wanda Maximoff brought down the Hex, the FBI wanted to bring her to justice for her crimes of taking all the citizens of Westview hostage.
In order to avoid capture from the law, Wanda moved into an isolated cabin in the mountains. Wanda used her time in hiding to learn how to gain control over her chaos magic before she could return to society.
