Angel later helps the X-Men, the Brotherhood of Mutants and the Acolytes, in fighting Apocalypse and his Horseman.
When Charles Xavier read Apocalypse's mind, he saw that Angel will become a member of the X-Men.

- Flight: Due to Angel's bird-like wings; he is able to fly at amazing speeds and at high altitudes.

- Water: If Angel's feathered wings get wet, it will be difficult for him to fly; as his wings become heavy after they absorb water.
